I have already implemented J2ME Personal Profile LwVCL. See the J2SE LwVCL version. At present, J2ME Personal Profile and J2SE LwVCL versions are the same things. I have also started the J2ME MIDP LwVCL development to create a version that can "live" in the resource-limited environments.

The J2ME MIDP LwVCL version started its life several months ago, and at the moment I have just a draft version. The main result is that the library can to work in the J2ME MIDP environment. Practically all J2SE LwVCL components can be used with the new version. But, taking in account the performance and resources usage reasons, some of the LwVCL components will be simplified and the others will not be supplied. You can download the draft J2ME MIDP LwVCL version from here and look at screen shots here. To try the version, J2ME Wireless Toolkit 2.0 or higher should be installed.
